The Livingston County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed a resolution to designate Livingston County a Purple Heart County.
This designation will hold in high esteem those injured in combat. Our county will assist veterans to enroll in the Purple Heart Hall of Honor in New Windsor New York. The Livingston County Highway Department will create signs and post them on county roads for all to see entering our county.
