We pride ourselves on maintaining a fiscally prudent correctional setting that offers many programs to better prepare the population to comfortably transition after release. Our goal is to meet or exceed the Minimum Standards and Regulations set forth by the New York State Commission of Corrections at the least possible cost to the community, all while keeping the people of Livingston County safe."

The Corrections Division is responsible for the staffing and operation of the Livingston County Jail and Courthouse Security. Staff consists of Chief Deputy Jason Yasso filling the Superintendent role, Captain Jeff Hammond the deputy superintendent, Administrative Sergeant Aaron Galvin, Court Security Sergeant Jeremy Slocum, six corporals who supervise shifts, 47 full-time correction officers, 33 part-time correction officers, four full-time and six part-time civilian employees.
