Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation to Hold On-The-Spot Hiring Clinic Oct. 26 in Mt. Morris

GENESEO, N.Y., Oct. 24, 2022 – Are you looking to join an award-winning team?  Do you want to make a significant difference in patients’ lives while also advancing your own career? The Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has an opportunity to do exactly that at its upcoming on-the-spot hiring event from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26th at 11 Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris.

The Center has open positions for Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, Charge LPNs, Registered Nurses and Charge RNs.  Attendees will be able to complete a job application and, if qualified, participate in an interview and be offered a job and a starting date on the spot.  

“We are committed to providing our residents with the highest level of quality care,” said Deputy Director of Long-Term Care Eric Townsend. “This on-the-spot hiring event will not only allow us to attract some of the best and brightest in the profession, but is a clear sign that we are dedicated to remaining a Center of choice for County residents.”  

Along with enhanced rates with shift differentials and incentive pay, those hired may be eligible for the New York State Healthcare Worker Bonus Program of up to $3,000.  Additionally, anyone hired is eligible to participate in the New York State Retirement System and take advantage of the County’s excellent benefit package including a health insurance option that is fully-funded by the County.

Just a short drive from Rochester and situated atop a picturesque hill in a park-like setting in Mount Morris, the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation offers 24-hour skilled nursing services ranging from short-term, post-acute rehabilitative care to traditional long-term care. The CNR also features a fully-functional dialysis center with the ability to service up to six individuals at once.  Since its opening, the office, which is maintained in conjunction with Wyoming County Hospital, has serviced over 1,000 appointments and has made numerous positive impacts on their quality of lives throughout Livingston County.
