MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y. – Oct. 27, 2022 – The Director of Public Health and the Director of Community Services will co-facilitate two key stakeholder discussions to determine gaps in opioid and substance use services in Livingston County. The intent is to enhance prevention and treatment efforts with the County’s portion of the opioid settlement monies. The money is being provided as part of lawsuit settlements from pharmaceutical companies.
The Livingston County Department of Health invites one or two representatives from county agencies and community-based organizations to explore the needs that exist for those struggling with substance use in the County. There are two scheduled meeting dates and times. The first is Monday, December 5, 2022 from 12-2pm in the Conference Center (Building 1) on Murray Hill Campus, Mt. Morris, NY. The other is Monday, December 12, 2022 from 4-6pm in Room 208 of the Government Center in Geneseo, NY. There will be a meal provided at each meeting for those who attend.
For the identified agency representatives that plan to attend, please RSVP for one of the above sessions by December 1, 2022 by emailing either Jennifer Rodriguez (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Andrea Callahan (email@example.com).
