GENESEO, N.Y., MAY 3, 2023 – The Livingston County Environmental Management Council was on hand at the latest Board of Supervisors meeting to recognize Lagom Landing with its 25th Annual Earth Day Award for its inspirational work fostering environmental values and promoting meaningful connections and contributing to holistic education.
“We commend Lagom Landing for its impressive and inspirational work with students,” said the EMC’s Board of Directors. “Lagom Landing’s achievements have contributed to the protection and conservation of Livingston County’s natural resources and to the quality of life of our residents and we’re grateful for its efforts.”
A non-profit that provides space and renewal opportunities for all, Lagom Landing empowers people to build lives of meaning and happiness through a partnership with the environment. Through activities including carpentry, gardening, caring for animals, immersion and observation of nature, cooking, making maple syrup and more, Lagom Landing is passionate and dedicated to preservation and conservation practices.

The Livingston County Environmental Management Council is a county-appointed body that advises the Livingston County Board of Supervisors on matters affecting the quality of the environment.
