GENESEO, N.Y., Nov. 8, 2023 – The final public meeting to discuss the proposed Lakeville Corridor Strategic Plan will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
The meeting, which is scheduled to take place at Willow Creek Venue located at 3100 Rochester Road, Lakeville, N.Y. 14480, will be the final opportunity to provide input and commentary on the proposed alternatives for Big Tree Road.
The Lakeville Corridor Strategic Plan seeks to identify access management improvements to businesses and properties, mitigation of stormwater impacts and active transportation, both recreational and pedestrian, improvements for the Route 20A (Big Tree Road) corridor from West Lake Road to East Lake Road in the Town of Livonia within Livingston County.
The project is being overseen by a steering committee comprised of local residents, business and property owners, town, county and state officials. The planning process includes data collection and analysis of current conditions, a needs assessment and community visioning process and recommendations for future action.
The steering committee is dedicated to providing community members with ample opportunities to engage in the planning process and provide feedback on important questions and decisions regarding the future development of the corridor.
