Livingston County Workforce Development Releases 2024 Job Fair Schedule

GENESEO, N.Y., Jan. 5, 2024 — The Livingston County Office of Workforce Development has announced its schedule of monthly job fairs for 2024.

All job fairs, with the exception of one scheduled in June, will be held on the third Tuesday of the month from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. in the County Government Center’s main lobby and rooms 205 and 208 in Geneseo. The June event will take place on the fourth Tuesday of the month, June 25, 2024. More than 20 employers are typically present at each of the monthly job fair events. In 2023, the Workforce Development Office held seven job fairs with an average of 24 employers and 53 job seekers per occasion. All job fairs are free for both employers and job seekers to attend.

The Office of Workforce Development encourages job seekers to sign up for their weekly jobs newsletter email, which provides information on recent job postings, upcoming local job fairs, civil service positions and tests, job search workshops and other information related to finding employment. Those looking to sign up can email to start receiving the free newsletter.

Livingston County employers are given first preference for job fairs, however, surrounding county employers are also welcome as space permits. Recruitment for the events is on a monthly, first-come, basis. Interested employers can contact John Jaeger at the Livingston County Office of Workforce Development at 585-243-7047 or email
